Retired Chicago Cubs catcher Todd Hundley has put his six-bedroom Glenview home on the market for $1.8 million. Hundley, 41, played in the major leagues from 1990 until 2003, including with the Cubs in 2001 and 2002. The two-time All-Star and son of former Cubs favorite Randy Hundley seemed full of promise after signing a four-year, $23.5 million contract to play for his hometown team before the 2001 season, but his two seasons here were marred by injuries, poor hitting, complaints about playing time and frequent heckling by fans. Niko Lyras lives in a two-bedroom condo in the renovated Lenox School building. “I think this place might be one of a kind in Midtown,” Lyras said.
The old Lenox School building was converted into condominiums.

The Brookdale Group, an Atlanta real estate firm, has bought the 105,363-square-foot Nottingham Hall office building in Durham for $13.6 million, according to Durham County property records.
The seller was America’s Capital Partners, a Miami-based company that bought the building in December 2004 for $13 million.
The building, located in the Imperial Center business park at the intersection of I-40 and I-540, was built in 2001.
It’s 92 percent leased, according to Cassidy Turley, which represented the seller.
Tenants include Abraxis Bioscience, Biocryst Pharmaceuticals and Infineon Technologies.

Kelli Mirelli and Casey Hendry with bulldog, Farley, love their new home in Midtown.
What started out as a sleepless night turned into a major life decision for 38-year-old Kelli Mirelli.
Unable to sleep, she logged onto the Internet to kill time, and began looking at Memphis area homes for sale — “just to see what’s out there,” she said.
What Mirelli, a cosmetics specialist, found were houses in her price range.
“I was seeing houses as low as $50,000,” she said.
