NEW YORK, NY March 13, 2012 A financial institution has retained Ariel Property Advisors to sell its financial lien positions for nine investment properties in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Long Island.
The portfolio of performing and non-performing notes includes multifamily, mixed-use, and retail properties, which are being offered individually or as a package. The total principal balance of the portfolio is just under $9 Million.

DOWNTOWN: You’re going to have to find two quarters to rub together or walk your butt up Bunker Hill–Angels Flight is raising fares from 25 to 50 cents (Metro pass holders will still get the quarter fare). Apparently, those measly fares have never covered operating costs and AF has always gotten by on donations. Railway President John Welborne tells the Daily News that now “a number of our donors have suggested that our riders could pay more, too.” The new price goes into effect this Monday, March 12.
